1) Erica, as per usual, talking me into buying pillow-things. She has an obsession. 2) Greg and I watching videos on suspended wave-structures. Filed under research. 3) This is Maeby does every morning. 4) Erica taking Gino’s 4x5. 5) Shenanigans at work. 6) Kickstarter meet up just before the Los Angeles Art Book Fair. 7) Sharing funny stories with Lan and Aaron.

1) Eating lunch at GC3. 2) Erica dancing around the kitchen. 3) Paul giving Gino a hilariously hard-time during a recording session. 4) Lighting may not be our strong-suite, but we are creative about it. 5) Potting a terrarium with Erica. 6) It doesn’t rain often in LA, but when it does the streets flood 8 inches deep in some spots, which makes for a fun drive home. 7) Sharing things at the office. 

1) Xander telling Erica about a not-so-good day he had. 2) Staying late at the office, working on concept art. 3) Listening to Erica read Snow White. 4) Greg going over story points. 5) Picking up 4x5 negatives with Erica. 6) Listening to rough-drafts of the film’s score. 7) Taking in the sunset with Gino and Erica at Magic Tree.

1) Taking Xander’s portrait in the backyard. 2) Taking a short break at work to enjoy the sunset from the roof. 3) Xander sleeping in. 4) Saying goodbye never gets any easier. 5) Erica showing off her carpenter skills. 6) Enjoying a candle-lit dinner… except the candles are blocking our view of each other. 7) #kickstartallofthethings ! 

1) Erica leaving to pick-up Xander for xmas! 2) Skyping with family. 3) Xander make-believing while we stop by the bank. 4) Going on hiking adventures with Gino, Erica and Xander in the Angeles National Park. 5) Xander trying fried-ice-cream for the first time… and loving it. 6) Picking on Maeby. 7) Trying to pick out our New Year’s outfits.

1) Providing moral support while Erica developes large-format negatives. 2) I couldn’t bring myself to watch the gross popping-related video. 3) Erica teasing me. 4) Gino and Greg talking all-things technology. 5) Not quite one pull-up… but we’re working on that. 6) Old with the old, in with the new. 7) It’s HOT!!! is my favorite thing.

1) Tearing everything down - just so we can put it back together again. 2) Heading to Florida for the rest of the week for a Fantasyland press event. 3) I wish it had been longer, but I did get to see Dylan, James and my Mom for a few hours in EPCOT - they just so happened to be in town the same time! 4) Settling into my hotel room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. 5) Stopped in for literally 2 minutes to see Dylan and my Mom one more time before heading back to LA. 6) Will had been waiting all week to show me the Everest ride - such a fun ride! 7) Back home in LA - building Frank Lloyd Wright lego houses with Erica. 

1) Working on story. 2) Racing through the tunnels downtown. 3) Picking up Erica at LAX - Maeby going crazy. 4) Cheetos make better candles than they do food. 5) Picking out our xmas tree at the lot. 6) Power move! 7) Enjoying another sunset from the roof at work.

1) Breaker has been especially cuddly in the mornings, every day when I wake up she’s got herself tucked right up against me. 2) Dropping Erica off at LAX very early in the morning. 3) Painting clay dinos that we made with an old-old cast. 4) Discussing big moves at work. 5) Heading home after Lincoln. 6) Left to our own devices. 7) Home alone for 4 days straight - making a special kind of mess in the kitchen. 

1) Outlining a giant-giant thumbprint for a project at work. 2) Katia giving us a walk-through in the arts of animation. 3) Erica drawing a picture for Xander after they had a conversation about turquoise-bears. 4) Picking up a handful of bounce-boards at Home Depot with Gino and Sam. 5) Breaker has been giving out free hugs. 6) Great advice, and with such authority! 7) Erica happening across a Frank Lloyd Wright set at LACMA.

1) Just another day at the office. 2) Breaker sometimes sleeps like this… it’s both cute and creepy at the same time. 3) When we drive, we drive with soul. 4) A failed attempt at chimney smoke. 5) If you ever come across new-salt, don’t try it. 6) A beautiful sunset as Erica and I leave for our date. 7) Maeby on her little couch-cushion of hate.

1) Picking up Maeby from the vet after our trip to NYC, she was so excited she squeezed through the gate! 2) On our walk home after work, Erica and I saw this band practicing in the back of a resturant. 3) Greg and Gino in character. 4) Taking public transporation. 5) Discussing the last scene of FToM with Erica. 6) Celebrating Merritt’s last day with Disney at Kids Castle. 7) Very late night at the office over the weekend, recoding another (hopefully final pass) of voiceover before festival submissions.

1) First official day of Film Week! 2) Taking a break between meetings. 3) More meetings! 4) Erica and I walked calmly down the stairs… around the corner… trying our best to play it cool… then, when the coast was clear, we celebrated an amazing meeting! 5) Out way, way past our best time in Brooklyn. 6) Feeling sleep-deprived and yet, wired at the same time - we took a walk down the street at our place in Harlem to grab a few late night drinks. 7) Heading back home to LA…

1) Having drinks and doing prep-work with Oakley and Alex just before IFP film week. 2) Gino will have to explain this one. 3) Bringing a new garage chair that we snagged at the thrift shop! 4) Having lunch with Evan - him and Erica were looking over negatives. 5) Filming everything… as per usual. 6) Testing out the iPad book I made of the film to take with us to NYC. 7) Made it safe to NY, grabbing some breakfast before our first day of orientation. 

1) Watching Erica take a large-format out in the oil fields. 2) Laying in bed laughing at Errmahgerd photos. 3) Whit telling Emily about a bar-fight he saw. 4) Developing photos in the kitchen sink. 5) Picking Erica up from LAX after a trip to Michigan. 6) New sticky notes on my work-computer. 7) Getting a surprise gift from a friend in Japan!
