erica, xander, lan and I hiked up to the overlook behind the hollywood bowl to watch the fireworks go off all over the city! it was lan’s first year, but last year, erica, xander and I hiked up to this same spot - the bowl doesn’t have very impressive fireworks themselves, but overall, the city of LA is full of hundreds of little far-away explosions… all mixed in with the flickering city lights. lan did most of the filming - but we each wanted to make a version of the night.
